Four years ago today, I drove to Rockford to pick up a rescue dog, who was flown here from Kentucky, hitching a ride on an Angel Flight and she forever changed our lives.
Her first three years were less than a happy life. We try and give her a fabulous day each and every day.
She’s feisty, sometimes naughty, sometimes nice, funny, sassy, smart, lovable, cuddly…and we think she’s perfect!
Happy 7th birthday Maxie, Maxine, Puppa! We love you, sweet girl.
