A very dear friend (and Roomie) gifted me a journal with the word, Optimist, on the cover. It’s a blank journal where I can journal my thoughts, my blessings, my gifts and reasons I’m happy. Reasons I choose happiness.
op·ti·mist
ˈäptəməst/
noun
1.
a person who tends to be hopeful and confident about the future or the success of something.
“only an eternal optimist could expect success”
2.
PHILOSOPHY
a person who believes that this world is the best of all possible worlds or that good must ultimately prevail over evil.
I choose to see the world through rose-colored glasses. Speaking of glasses, I see my glass as half full, and always topped off. I always believe the Bears will win. I’m convinced the Cubs will, yet again, win a World Series. I believe we will find a cure for cancer. A cure for ALS, Type 1 Diabetes and every other horrible disease. I think I’m going to win the lottery. I believe in my heart my children will find happiness, love and success. I think the stock market will continue to rise. Life Is better on the other side of the street. It’s also good on this side of the street. I know I’m going to be happy. I know everything is going to be alright. Because what’s the alternative? Believe and it will be true. Built it and they will come. My God, don’t settle. It’s never too late. Life Can be all ribbons and rainbows. You just need to believe it. With all your heart. ❤️💜💙
Life is short. Choose joy.
Have the best day ever. I intend to.

LOVE ALL OF THIS!! XX And I couldn’t agree more – #metoo
Boy this one’s a winner. I love that creed. Be so busy improving yourself you don’t have time to criticize others. Boom, gotta do that one! You know my glass is always half full, and gratefully often overflowing. Shared on FB and I don’t do that very often!!! XOXO
Best way to describe you is a true optimist…and I love that about you! Great Blog. Thanks for helping me keep my glass half full. XXOO
