It’s going to be a Super Weekend with Super Bowl Sunday! Though I don’t have any “skin in the game:, per se, 2 of my all time favorites are Patriots fans, yet Kevin was born in Seattle. What’s a girl to do? Keep my thoughts to myself, that’s what. 😉 And no, I am Not bowling… I’m a horrible bowler, btw.
I’ve previously posted 2 SUPERb blogs on Super Bowl Sunday which are still timely in regards to What to Wear to a Super Bowl Party (wear your team colors, if you don’t choose to wear a jersey or other NFL apparel) and What to Make (cute football related fare sure to please even the pickiest palates) I’ve included links back to those blog at end of the blog. #AlwaysThinkingOfOthers #UppingThoseBlogViews
I’m also done chatting about Deflate-gate and Marshawn Lynch and my views on each. Of course my views are well-thought and brilliant, but even I tire of topics that get too much play. So onto Football stats and stuff!

12th Man Margarita! Loving how they use the key lime as a garnish. The drink is made with Hornito’s Tequila, Blue Curacao, Green Midori Liqueur, citrus juices, and tonic water.
Patriots PuPus
Patriots Jello Shot
Ingredients
- 3oz Jello Packet
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
- 1 Cup Flavored Vodka, Chilled (I used Pinnacle Whipped)
Instructions
- Boil water/water mixture
- Dissolve Jello or Knox packets into boiled mixture
- Remove from heat
- Add chilled vodka or vodka & milk
- Measure 1.5 tbsp of finished jello mix into each shot cup
- Chill in the freezer for 30-45 minutes
- Repeat with each layer
Quick notes
- Prepare each jello mixture ONLY when you’re ready to pour it
- If you want to skip out on layers altogether, double the recipes and don’t worry about repeating.
- Once you’ve added the final layer, or if you’re only doing one flavor, chill the jello in the fridge, NOT the freezer.
The Pearfect Season Go New England Patriots 2 parts Absolut Pears 6-10 Blueberries 1/2 tbsp. Superfine Sugar or 1/2 part Simple Syrup 1/4 part Lemon Juice 1/4 part Lemon/lime soda 2 dashes Peach Bitters (optional)
Drunken Gummy Bears. Soaked in alcohol for several days…Your choice of alcohol. Vodka or Rum, would be my choice. An equal opportunity shooter. I’m thinking my favorites in Boston, Cathy, Phil, Tyler and Alyssa could use some of these to calm down. Mark should be fine. 😉

What’s a blog without a picture of my pup? Not a good blog at all…It’s a shame, Maxie appears to have No personality! 🙂 Murphy would love, love, love this sweet girl. She has settled in so well with our family and recovering nicely from her surgery. While a hole in your heart is hard to fill, this little girl is certainly doing a good job of trying to fill it in for us. Missing Murphy. Loving Maxie. xoxoxo
Song of the Day: It’s a Beautiful Day, by Joshua Radin. You can thank Dr. Stevie when I use hip and trendy songs, as opposed to the plethera of 70’s and 80’s that I tend to gravitate towards. So, loving using It’s a Beautiful Day…Because it happens to be a beautiful day. 🙂
Oooh ooohh my my

Have a Super Weekend! And not going to show my hand regarding my Super Bowl pics. #CageyBlogger
