Things Every Man Should Know…

welcome back monday

It’s Back!  MANic Monday… It’s been awhile since I’ve done a MANic Monday post.  I’m sure my few male followers will be super excited.   Funny enough, I’m now over 900,000 lifetime views on this blog, and MANic Monday topics remain the highest read blogs.  That, and It’s All About Me or Stylish Things to Know or Things I Know.  Perhaps I’ll post more MANic Monday topics.  And perhaps I’ll post in the morning like I typically do, and not at 3PM.  #lazy

There was this great little article, that boasts 40+ things every man should know.  I’ve decided to pick and choose the ones I want to share and think men should know (again, it’s DressedtoaT so I do what I want) but know there are some things Men probably should know, that I’m choosing not to share…so I’ve shared the Entire post of  48 things men should know at the end of this blog.  #alwaysgiving

Enjoy!

Nice to Meet You

Changing a car tire.  This reminds me of a story when I was driving to a Bears game with Susan, Patrick and his friend Matt.  I was driving (or pushing as the younger kids say) a Porsche Cayenne, and turned around in the street, because that’s how you get into the parking garage.  There was no traffic and this was a safe maneuver.  My tire clipped the curb, and it Immediately went flat.  Changing a Cayenne’s tire, is not like changing other tires.  It appeared to be complicated.  Susan said we needed to call Roadside Assistance.  Oh she of little faith.  Within 2 minutes, I found 3 men, all in Bears jerseys, and explained that while I was Not a damsel in distress, I was a damsel who did Not know how to change the tire in my car…and could they please assist, and in turn, I would allow them to sit in my seats for 1/2 the game.  Boom…tire changed, and they did not take me up on my offer, but asked that I frequent the restaurant, that a family member owns in South Barrington. Boom, I’ve frequented Jersey’s Pizza and Grill  about 15 times since.  #greatpizza  #servesStella

Great weekend, only 1 trick-or-treater (correct only one) and a  great wedding…More pics to follow, but this is me and Mer.  Best line of the night came from my darling daughter who told me that I appear to Not know the words to any of the songs, I was singing, loudly, while dancing and singing to the band.  #duh.  I don’t know the words to any song, other than Paradise by the dashboard lights, or perhaps, Build me up buttercup.  So, she says, “Hmmm.  I thought you were a karaoke singer.  So, what you really are is  a dancer”.  Yes, Mer Mer, your Momma, is a dancer.  But I’m also a singer in a rock and roll band! 🙂

Song of the Day:  Living on a Prayer, by Bon Jovi, which I love to sing (just not the right words) and dance to at a wedding.  No matter, as I’m still fun at parties.  And weddings.

She says, “We’ve gotta hold on to what we’ve got.
It doesn’t make a difference if we make it or not.
We’ve got each other and that’s a lot.
For love we’ll give it a shot.”

Whoa, we’re half way there
Whoa, livin’ on a prayer
Take my hand and we’ll make it – I swear
Whoa, livin’ on a prayer

Oh Monday…

xoxo,

T.
